What does "Protecting Life's Adventures" mean to us?

It means understanding that life's adventures aren't always beaches or mountaintops. Sometimes an adventure is buying your first home, having a baby, handing the keys to a new driver, sending kids back to school, moving into a new apartment, starting a business, starting retirement, or loading up for one last summer road trip.

August tends to bring a little bit of all of that. Summer isn't quite over, but school is starting, schedules are getting busier, and families are moving into a new season of life. Those transitions are a good reminder that insurance should change as your life changes.

At Kyle Thompson State Farm, protecting those adventures is what we do. We help families protect the cars that get them there, the homes they come back to, and - most importantly - the people they're sharing the adventure with.

My wife Jennie works alongside me full-time at the agency, and we're proud to have built a local business centered around relationships. We're also proud to support youth sports, Emporia State athletics, and organizations that help make our community a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

Outside the office, my own adventures usually involve my family, hiking, traveling, live music, and even making a little music when I can. Jennie and I are both Emporia State graduates, and life at home includes our beautiful daughter, a Miniature Schnauzer, and two cats.
